What is MALKARI jewelry made of?
MALKARI pieces are crafted in 14K gold-filled and sterling silver, designed to last and to be worn daily. Many pieces incorporate semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls, and hand-selected accents that carry their own spiritual intention. Each product page lists the specific materials used.
Is gold-filled the same as gold-plated?
No, and the difference matters. Gold-filled has a thick layer of solid gold bonded to a brass core — it’s significantly more durable than gold-plated jewelry and won’t easily wear off, tarnish, or turn your skin green. Gold-filled is the highest quality option short of solid gold and is meant to last for years with proper care.
Are MALKARI pieces hypoallergenic?
Our 14K gold-filled and sterling silver pieces are safe for most sensitive skin. If you have a known nickel allergy, gold-filled is generally a safe choice. For severe metal sensitivities, please email us at Malkari@talikogan.com and we’ll help you choose the right piece.
How do I care for my MALKARI jewelry?
To keep your pieces looking radiant:
- Avoid contact with perfume, lotion, hairspray, chlorine, and saltwater
- Remove before showering, swimming, or working out
- Store each piece separately in a soft pouch or jewelry box
- Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing
- Polish occasionally with a jewelry polishing cloth (never use abrasive cleaners)

How do I find my ring size?

Can I exchange my piece if the size isn’t right?
Yes. Unworn, unused regular-priced items in original packaging may be exchanged within 14 days of receipt. See our full Return Policy for details.
Do you offer custom sizing?
For some pieces, yes. Email Malkari@talikogan.com with the piece you’re interested in and the size you need, and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
How long does it take to process my order?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days. Custom orders or pieces that require resizing may take longer — we’ll always let you know if your timeline is different.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, MALKARI ships worldwide. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout and may include applicable duties and taxes paid directly to your country’s customs (these are the buyer’s responsibility).
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes. As soon as your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
What if my package is lost or damaged in transit?
For domestic orders, contact us at Malkari@talikogan.com within 7 days of expected delivery and we’ll help resolve it. International packages lost in transit without proof of delivery are not eligible for reimbursement — see our Shipping Policy for full details.
What is your return policy?
Unworn, unused regular-priced items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund. Sale items are final sale. Read our complete Return Policy for all details.
How do I start a return?
Email Malkari@talikogan.com within 30 days of your order date and we’ll guide you through the process.
Do you accept international returns?
International orders are final sale and not eligible for returns. Exchanges may be possible, but all additional shipping costs (return + reshipment) are the buyer’s responsibility. See our Return Policy for the full breakdown.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. MALKARI eGift Cards are available in amounts from $100 to $500 and never expire. Buy a Gift Card →
Can I schedule a gift card for a future delivery date?
Yes — when purchasing, you can choose the delivery date and add a personalized message.
Can a gift card be redeemed for cash?
No. Gift cards are redeemable only for products at malkaribytali.com.
Where is MALKARI located?
Our studio is at 900 N Michigan Ave, 5th Floor, Chicago, IL 60611, inside The Shops at 900 N Michigan on the Magnificent Mile.
Can I visit the studio?
Yes, by appointment. Drop-in hours are Saturdays 10 AM – 3 PM for returns and pickups. For private appointments, email Malkari@talikogan.com.
Can I see a piece in person before buying?
For Chicago-area Queens, yes — book an appointment and we’ll show you the piece you’re considering. For everyone else, our product photos are styled to show every angle, and we’re always available to answer specific questions over email.
Who is the woman behind MALKARI?
MALKARI is the jewelry line by Tali Kogan, a Chicago-based celebrity fashion stylist who has worked with bestselling authors, global keynote speakers, and 7- and 8-figure female entrepreneurs. After years of styling powerful women, Tali created MALKARI to give every Queen a piece that carries intention — not just decoration.
